Plexado

Plexado was a Discord bot that my friend Fabian and I started working on together. Our goal with Plexado was simple—make community management easier. We wanted to build something that allowed community admins to focus more on engaging with their members and less on the time-consuming tasks of managing it all.

Plexado was a multi-purpose bot that covered everything from automating moderation tasks to providing handy tools for server admins. The idea was to streamline the experience so that managing a Discord community felt less like a chore.

We built Plexado using a stack that included NodeJS, DiscordJS, and JavaScript, with SvelteKit powering some of the frontend features. It was a fun and challenging project, and working with Fabian really pushed us both to learn a lot about building bots and optimising them for large communities.

Though Plexado was eventually retired, the experience gave me a solid understanding of how to design and manage systems that simplify processes for users. It’s one of those projects I look back on fondly, both for the skills I gained and for the teamwork involved.
